Yah i know... hehehehe and i wont sell my rims hahahaha.... i 'potong' stim you guys ahh... just want to share with u guys and being transparent. I had this setup before.. no harm done
It has to be sealed the old hole first, then re-drill, this way the metal structure will be intact

me, me ,me sure got effects, rim slightly heavier
like i said, i've been using this setup before... my first BBS was from E34, use it for 3 years and sold for RS.. the owner until today masih pakai itu rim...
Okay, you sure noticed japanese rim setup sometime got 8 hole, 9 hole and 10 hole... that one also itu lubang semua exposed takde seal... the process of making the lugs oso from drilling.... so, germany aloy i think as good as japan aloy.. taiwan dunno lorrr...
i did not ask you guys to do the same, this is my way of satisfying myself to the max kekekke, if you have a doubt don't do it.... oh maybe you can just wait till i use it lahh... kekekeke

bro highwaystar; sorry it was not very clear to me on this re-drilling works:
appreciate if you could enlighten me abit bro
refer your pic that I amended; my questions:
1. RED - 5 lugs: were those the original holes?
2. BLUE - 4 lugs: are those the ones you redrilled?
3. GREEN: what are those? were those the original 5-lug holes? did you plug, fill, and weld shut the original holes? - if yes, how did you do this?
apology if too many questions bro. but thats just plain interesting!

Okay bro, i try to explain some since i pass to machine shop to do.. so i just know bit of the process.
1. RED - 5 lugs: were those the original holes?
These were substitute holes, some rim they had 5 lugs hole for 120pcd and 114pcd. if these rim were made for 120pcd, the 114pcd will be slightly smaller without the bolts bevels. These were made as a guide if you wish to drill 114pcd.
Some of bbs wheels (see the reverse side picture) come in FLAT base and some got grooves or longkang. ONLY flat base can be drill and if longkang cannot, because the drilled part with longkang will not sit perfectly on your knuckle.
2. BLUE - 4 lugs: are those the ones you redrilled?
Yes this is the new PCD with 100pcd setting, you noticed the center cone also has been fitted
3. GREEN: what are those? were those the original 5-lug holes? did you plug, fill, and weld shut the original holes? - if yes, how did you do this?
These are the original 120pcd 5 lugs hole, it has been heated plug, the machine shop measure perfectly, heat the metal and plug it in. And i don't exactly know how they do this maybe using hydraulic pump.
In order to remove this metal piece, you CAN'T simply knock with hammer, it has to drill out on which the plug cant be reuse. they need to create a new plug. These process can be done once... twice tak boleh:)
hope these will answer your question. cheers:)

Bro. Highway.... Freaking Awesome Piece Of Work You Have Their Man....
I envy You & Your BBS......
But i have a few question of my own if you don't mind me asking....
1. What is Electro Plating All about...?
2. I have found 2 sets of BBS RS....
It's 16 Inch x 7J front, 8J rear....
It's 4 lugs... but the problem is it's 114.3 PCD in size....
Can it be use on a e30....?

1. Electro Plating is a process to chrome plating, gold plating, bronze etc.
2. You need to know what offset... e30 offset OR ET should be 25 to 16.
114.3 can be drill across and make 8 hole, 1 original 114.3 and the other 100pcd. However you also need to mod center bore or center cone to 57.1. This drill should be made only flat base surface (reverse side of the rim) if got groove, i cant be drill.
Cheers

Okay man, glad i can help.
A FRIENDLY NOTES
I DO NOT HELD ANY RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO YOU OR YOUR RIDE, THIS METHOD OF MODS ALSO WILL MADE YOUR RIM LESS VALUE SINCE IT WAS CONSIDERED 'TEMPERED'.
I DID THIS BECAUSE I DO NOT INTEND TO SELL MY RIM. THANK YOU[/B]
