well guys, my journey with this E30 will most likely come to an end due to career advancement in oversea very soon (pending the nego on offer part)...

hence, this E30 is looking for a new caring hand & home to continue his graceful journey on our roads...

as the title suggested, i am putting up it for a pre-sale preview & could not decide at this moment when can i let go the car. Taking into consideration that the sale of this car may not happen immediately, hence i am putting it up for any prospect/potential buyer who might be planning to buy a good condition E30 for preview & nego...

here's the details :

Engine : M20b23 AUTO
Year : 1985

History of the car :

I am the 3rd owner of the car, according to the previous owner (justified by the invoices), he had spent over RM40 to rebuild the car both body & the engine. When I took over the car in Oct/Nov 2008, it was like showroom condition!

Since I took ownership of the car, I have also spent a fair bit in furthering the legacy of the previous owner in maintaining the E30 to its best condition it can be...

1. Revival of the power window
2. Re-built the whole power steering box & links
3. Re-conditioned the whole air-cond unit
4. A set of Eagle F1 rubbers
5. HID 4,300K
6. Re-conditioned (flushed) the radiator & changes all related hoses & clips
7. Put in the open port air filter
8. Recently changed the timing belt
9. Plonk in a set of Eclipse head unit for my fav music
10. Push Start Button for a modern touch
11. etcs etcs (cannot recall edi & will justify by giving away all the service invoices together with the car later)

And the asking price is RM22K (quite reluctant to nego)...

The above selling price also include all the extra spare parts that I have collected & stored up for preventive maintainence. Lazy to sell separately, no time to do COD for each individual items lor.

Rest assured, the car is in very good & healthy conditions. Interior & Engine are both extremely clean & ZERO leak.

It is my daily ride & most of all is a reliable ride that never failed me over the year.

yea bro...sad to let it go after investing some $ & time to maintain it ...(HM pulak tak mau layan kereta nie)...hopefully can a caring new owner for the car lor.

AC tip or whole back-box ar? Eeer...tricky question la, as i am not technically inclined, so I seriously have no idea whatsoever...jacked it up before & checked on it, but still i duno how to differentiate it ...for sure the back box underneath has no AC embossed wording la if that is what I should look out for?

...comes with the car when i bought it....perfect fit & works wonderfully!

according to bro Fabian, this can be traced back to his mass replication order many years back, he still has extra unit like this in his store, contact him in BMWCM or bimmerclub if you interested!

boon: UR bars are a similar design as well.

yeah I did meet up with Fabian about it but the ones he has now is a newer batch I guess with the full mounting bracket (as opposed to the half one in the pic). I'd have to move my fuse box for it to fix.

that's why I asked where its from coz it fits the old M20 body (believe it or not, the M40 strut bars are actually slightly longer and fuse box is slightly at a different angle) without moving the fuse box.

anyway.....

I'm with Nick on this....keep it cold storage!

oh now i c the reason y people ask me if i wanna remove the bar & sell it separately...

Nick & Boon : cold storage huh....hmmm...sounds like a good idea, better be a giant vacum dry box that would keep the moist away & preserve my car as in preserving the DSLR! muakakaka.....
