normally older 325 or 328 vanos cover will suffer chipped paint due to prolong exposion to engine heat...clockwork's 328 is the last badge of e36 produced in 1999, so the layer of paint is relatively new. Some more he bathe the car 3 times a week, of coz the car is cooler, not garang edi due to too much of watering! muahahahahahaha Laughing

ask the paitshop to respray back with heat resistant paint meant for engine compartment, should not be a problem, pretty straight forward job for them i think... Idea

the fuckup part is many shops dun stock them hi temp sprays

any recommendation

he is a trader imported various auto parts & accessories. last when i bought my leather care products frm him, he intro the heat resistant paint for engine compartment to me, ask him about it...(tell him i intro u, tell him the guy frm Wisma MCA driving black BMW)...good thing is he does door step delivery, price very reasonable with marginal bargain only. hope it helps.
