so does this mean that M3 is a limited edition and only 500 units available worldwide?

BMW Car Magazine November 08 issue stated

Non Sport Evo model about 500+-

E30 M3 Sport Evolution was produced 976 units and only 50 RHD
this is 2467cc 4cyclinder.
