Hi bro, just wondering if i can get some feedback regarding engine oil for bmw E30 m20 engine. Im currently using 15w40 mineral oil and got a tad oil leak in front of the engine, below the fan clutch, tempted to change to 10w40 semi synthetic. Now, the question is, will the semi oil cause the engine to leak more engine oil? Thx you

Chris

i think so..its because semi oil is less viscous compared to mineral
so easier to flow around the opening i.e bocor part..hehe

It's very simple bro.
Just change to 10w40 semi synthetic.
If it leaks, the proceed to change to M50/M52. Kautim? XD
