Ok Taikos, as I'm the newbie to e30 here, so pardon me if my question sounds dumb Razz

1. What kind of spring (lowered) would fit my ride with M40 engine? (the previous owner has upgraded the engine to 1995 E36 M40 engine with 17' rims)

2. I would prefer a not too harsher/hard ride but more of comfy if i have to balance between the two...

3. I was informed that eibach is same as bilstein and it is softer as compare to H&R? true kah?

Tks for the advises here...as i hv said, the questions sound dumb, cheerio! Laughing

eibach softer than H&R true...spring rate is lower therefore more comfortable than H&R but not as good for hard driving.

Best combo so far;
Eibach Pro-Kit + Bilstein Black!

aRRrgghh is correct, Eibach Prokit+bilstein black is comfy. H&R is too agressive. But you cannot deny that Bilstein Yelllow+H&R=fun.

There are lots of other setup such as Koni absorbers...Hotbits....KW springs...its all depends on what like.

If money is no object, Ground Control...SLURP
