Dear Sifus

I am looking at a 5-bolt wheel and is thinking of redrilling it to a 4-bolt PCD 100 configuration.

Any advice on whether it will compromise the wheel integrity, danger to the drive etc?

Lastly, got recommended workshop in JB who has gd handiwork for this task and price?

Thanks in advance.

Bro, everything can do. I've seen 5 bolts modified to 4 bolts. PCD 114.3 modified to PCD 100. Offset can be solved with spacers.

However, all this will effect the handling as you are changing the physical of the original rim. It will also effects the build as you're drilling additional holes to make it 5 from 4 and 100 from 114.3.

Sorry bro, don't have any idea for the workshop in JB.

Good luck =)

Noted with thanks Bro.

What if I use a spacer to convert 5 bolt to 4x100PCD and offset?

This will affecting handling but not strutcure of the wheel rite? Plse advise.

Thanks

What is it for? If you just want to fancy with max 120kmph drive, yes you can use the spacer... BUT if you wish to take sharp corner and headed for the pitstop i suggest not to. It depends. Like outside countries that equipt with huge stagered tyres but they dont run fast unless it was fully mod to specs..

Not recommended la bro. You better opt for 5 lugs conversion. Safer.

Hi Highwaystar & Arrrgghh

Thanks for the advice.

Gave up the idea of using spacer & especially drilling the wheel - too risky for too frivolous a reason...

5-lug conversion woill be the best but I dun seem to see a lot of e30 converted to 5 lug - is it too expensive, troublesome or other reason?

someone told me can use e36 axle and parts etc to swap (instead of a M3)?

Thanks

Hahahah... not much 5 lugs mod because not enough fund larr..kekeke.. most 5 lugs carries non correct offset for an E30 (unless your ride is M3), therefore back to square one lah pulak. What you need to do, curled up your fender or make it stretch then make the 5 lugs conversion. Once you did.. you will be most happiest BMW owner on earth hehehehe....

M3 offset different coz of its widebody. E30 tarraakkk....

Best of luck!
