hehehe hahahha... valve cover? m20 or m40 lor?

some valve cover covered with ABS Plastic like M50 engine, therefore easy to paint. And some cheap spray aerosol paint claimed 'Heat Resistant' on which i think not.

Recipe
1. Heat Resistant Spray Paint
comes either red, silver or black. Get the BBQ pit paint.

2. Normal RM5.00 Paint
find your desired color code for your theme

3. Sand Paper or hand drill machine with Sanding cups

4. Wire brush (use with hand drill)

5. 1 bottle of spirit

6. Heat gun or Hair Dryer

7. Paint polish

8. Set of valve cover gasket

9. 1 tube of gasket sealant

How to do larr
1. Remove your valve cover and clean it with detergent Inside Out.
This is to remove your minyak hitam or any carbon stains

2. Wipe dry and place it direct sunlight

3. Start sanding (sand paper) or using wire brush with drill to clean or remove the stain/grease layer on top of your valve cover.

4. Wipe clean with water and leave it dry again.

5. Once dry, clean it with Spirit (get it at your local hardware shop). Please DO NOT USE THINNER because thinner got oily substance.

6. Once the spirit dry, cover your bottom valve cover to avoid paint particles. Once done, you can start spray your top cover layer by layer. If you wish to paint your cover white or bright colour, use SILVER Heat Spray Paint. If Dark color, use BLACK Heat Spray Paint.
This is to give base colour.

PAINT APPLICATION
Please paint using layering system. First layer, heat it with hair dryer or heat gun (heat until the valve cover is warm) and follow the same process on the second layer and so on. Heat Spray Paint contain 'Rubbery' compound that will stick to your paint surface when it heated.

7. Once the 'Heat Paint' fully cured, sand it mild (this is to make your next paint stick). Start spray with your 'RM5.00' paint in the same layer process BUT no sanding needed. Heat it with hair dryer/ heat gun per layer.

8. Once complete and fully cured, wax it one time. You can use your drill with sanding kit, to 'scrape off' the paint that covered the BMW lettering into chrome effect.

9. Carefully relocate your valve cover and SMILE!

THATS IT! HAPPY PAINTING AHHH

heheheh... guys, boleh takde hal. Upah? ish... dono lah wei...takde guarantee heheheh...

so far so good, but when you start your engine for the first time after placing your valve cover, it will smoke and smell burnt (this is due to paint resin melt when extremly hot)

nak tembak clear coat pun okay. tapi gua suggest pakai kedai punya clear coat, sebab yang murah punya (RM5) spray tuh, gerenti tak tahan lama. infact kalo minyak itam tumpah ker ada marking. So, for those ppl out there, if you wish to have a clear coating on your valve cover, tolong pakai industrial clear coat. advantage...boleh polish kalo kotor. cheers!
