Malatbimmer.com, the cult, an alternative, a friendly community website, young, cool, fun and dedicated ambitious BMW community wishing to share experiences and knowledge amongst others, unity is our goal and to establish a good driving environment and communications between all BMW drivers.

Malatbimmer was established in central Kuala Lumpur in mid 2003 and it was started by six best friends who always believed in contributing to each other is the best way of making friends and at the same time sharing their best interest...BMW. Towards up and down, suffering and happiness, now, more than 100 BMW owners (malats) has already signed up with malatbimmer and pledge to be one of the greatest BMW community ever. Malatbimmer.com officially made an official established date falls on 23rd September 2003. 23rd September is the anniversary date of malatbimmer.com

Malatbimmer.com is a non-profitable BMW community and therefore registration as a member into this community is absolutely free! thus there is some cost to bear in term of website hosting, management and maintenance. We solely survived on donations and contributions from members as little as RM1.00 and basically it is all up to your wallet, if you feel this community is worthwhile, why not contribute more, or you can also sponsor us by doing teh tarik sessions or makan. Doesn't matter if you drive an old rusted bimmer or the latter model, to us if you are driving with a boot badge that stated BMW, you're just as malat as we are and its a brotherhood for us.

The meaning of malat is just a preached or an expression that is popular in our local chinese community. And to us malat symbolizes an outlaw, a cult or gangsterism, a kind of always showing off their best and a group of people that always having a fun, simple life without a single cent in their pocket. it may sound bad to many, really bad...but once you know us, you will be surprised that we are traffic rules abiding bimmer drivers, full of laugh and joy and one of the most supportive community ever. Malatbimmer's seven officials are the spokesmen cum ambassador to this community; we also believe in the freedom of speech therefore we do not practice management committee ruling, so these officials are as neutral as all fellow malats.

Apart from being a member to this community, malatbimmer offers benefits such as discounts to its members with a line of suppliers ranging from spare-parts new and used, workshops, upholstery refurbishing, air-cond, even a hotel for our outstation members. Members can organise their own event and can even post their own classified and sell whatever they want from old pc's to used playstation game set. At malatbimmer, we have also allocated a space for members to post their bimmer in the gallery. Oh yes! get more exposure for business! just post a write-up about your company and who knows, you might end up with a rewarding project.
