modify the 'box mounting to suit engine.much better to avoid body twisting when u have bigger torque

I told the mech that but he want to go ahead with engine mounting since mounting bracket sudah potong oredi. He'll modify steering column to cater for the exhaust. Should be ok i guess as he will modify only one bracket. The tilt looks better today:

Good news: can use back m42 e36 rhd header. E30 m42 header shown.
Bad news: need to shorten intake manifold to clear brake servo.

Intake manifold shorten and reverting back to e30 header due to clearance issue. Now waiting for longshaft to be modified as its too short for m42.

can you reason why did you re-tilt your engine angle and cut the engine bracket on the right with the shortening of the manifold ?

Engine bracket cut to cater for 10 degree difference between engine and m20 box. Shortening of the manifold cause mech scare it will hit brake master pump when its running. I don't really agree with their way of doing things though but so far their workmanship looks good enough for me.

Mine should be done by this weekend :). Well at least the mechanical tasks. Tuning is another grandfather story i guess. No more money for dyno tuning Sad

Frankestein upgrade, unknown nissan servo mix with nissan vanette master pump with remote reservoir. Look at how close is the clearance.

okay, since you tilt it back to -10deg, how will you settle the starvation of the cylinder head without oil everytime you start up your engine..there will be non in the hydraulic lifters ? so no lubrication there...

funny these days the mechanics, they can re-event the wheel.....

Around 5k. M40 should cost less i guess since most part can use back.
