Salam to all.

Nak minta pendapat tentang masalah2 berikut tentang keta aku
E30 323i Auto.

1. Bila bawa more than 80km/j, ada bunyi mcm dengung kat tayar belakang tapi tak berapa nak dengung la. Lebih kurang idgham bilaghunnah Razz . Yang pastinya bukan bunyi tayar.

Problem : Suspect bearing. Tapi ada yang cakap kena check axle @ fuel pump.

2. Bila bawak slow < 20km/j dan banyak stop (dalam jem), bila aku lepas minyak je, ada bunyi 'gluk' kat belakang. Tapi bila laju ok. Ratio pun cantik. 110 km/j baru rpm 2.5k. Adakah ini normal?

Problem : Suspect samada mounting atau differential.

Kepada otai/otaimer yang ada pengalaman, mohon beri pandangan dan cara penyelesaiannya. TQ.

Problem 1 - Wheel bearing, kalau nak suspect tayar, rotate tayar dan check see whether sound masih ada tak... kalau masih ada sure wheel bearing.

Problem 2 - Either long shaft coupling, or drive shaft OR u-joint long shaft.

Ratio okay takde hal Smile

actually, just sharing from experience... yg first memang macam hway cakap.

2nd actually is the Differential...ok....kalao senang, jack keta dulu....lepas tu check free play kat differential. ada tak free play, kalao ada, banyak ke?

biasanye free play nih yang buat bunyi gluk gluk kat differential. check also the long shaft heading into the differential ....check the free play....

important thing to check is the free play :D...btw, differential can be serviced....might be sending my LSD soon for a rebuild/service Very Happy
