My pump died after 25 years of service Sad I am looking for alternative fuel pump. Will it be possible to use performance aftermarket pump? Or can i use pump from other make e.g. proton/merc? Sharing is caring hehehe

kura... why use a high fuel pump when the fpr still restricts the amount of fuel using.. some more why use a high pressure pump when the common ones is up to 6bar.. nough to power the 2.0L L-jet.. the L jet fpr is up to 2.0 to 2.5bar.. if u use the high one, be prepare for the injectors to leak under high pressure...

just go get a new pump or use second hand pump..

oh, high pressure fuel pumps are mostly recomended for turbo/sc engines due to the need for fuel and constant pressure in the lines..
if you put for a NA car, waste of time cos the pressure is limited to the duty cycle of the injectors..

cheers..
