#8: Re: WTB : M20 ICV Author: evilnickwong, Location: TTDI, KLPosted: Thu Jul 09, 2009 4:16 am ---- What's wrong with your ICV anyway? Is it completely dead?
#9: Re: WTB : M20 ICV Author: nawtyboy, Location: USJPosted: Thu Jul 09, 2009 4:40 am ---- my idling kacau, every now & then will die off at standstill/trafiic jam
on & off happens, not always...but lately deteriorated, always mati engine at traffic jam...
the idling will go up & down at standstill position, sometimes it dips too low then engine die off.
I got my mech to caliberate the ICV and loosen up the valves, also did some clean up on the TB, but it doesn't last. after 3000km+ the idling again 'kacau'
so i guess it's time to get it replace ?...(car still in workshop)
#10: Re: WTB : M20 ICV Author: evilnickwong, Location: TTDI, KLPosted: Thu Jul 09, 2009 5:53 am ---- Did he try cleaning the ICV also?
What about vacumn leaks?
#11: Re: WTB : M20 ICV Author: chriseunos, Posted: Thu Jul 09, 2009 6:53 am ---- why is the icvs that u guys quoted so expnsive? i got mine brand new (T-shape) for RM450 in munich auto last year. I presume the price gone up?
#12: Re: WTB : M20 ICV Author: jeembo, Location: Car_JunkPosted: Thu Jul 09, 2009 7:15 am ---- try ask again bro. neways it was only quoted, the exact price is yet to be confirmed by AB(called them) as they dont keep it for stock.
#13: Re: WTB : M20 ICV Author: nawtyboy, Location: USJPosted: Thu Jul 09, 2009 7:57 am ---- evilnickwong : clean the ICV? yes, the mech dismantle the ICV and 'loosen' up the valves before...it only last for 3000km+ before the shuderring happens again...vacumn leak not sure, but i guess that is a new direction to trouble shoot....tkas!
chris & jemmbo : yup, i will ask again once the mech confirmed that ICV 'kong' and needs replacement...
