Hehe, not a real one though! but this is my 1st attempt at modeling a car using 3ds Max (often use Maya before this).

Thought I share it with u guys. It took me 30 hours to complete it! it doesn't have that much details cos it will be used in an animation later on.

Anyway, enjoy! Very Happy

What software did u use? Solidwork or catia? Or other software?

thanks guys! today im gonna start modeling the e30 m3. targeting 20 hours to complete it cos i'm starting to get familiar with functions of 3ds max.

thanks guys. e30 m3 model dah siap but still learning to render using v-ray.. used fg & gi & mental ray but it took a long time to render..haha

update on the E30 M3 3D model, its not as perfect as the real car as its also used in an animation.

How it started:

Halfway there Very Happy

One of the most 'pain in the ass' things to make was the rear spoiler! took me more than an hour to do it

Finally

haha, 3ds max ni senang sikit gune kalo nak modeling, functions dier mmg beginner-friendly sket.. Very Happy

Lagi byk practice lagi power modeling slalunyer dlm 30-40 hrs dah bleh mantap dah.. Laughing

Oo... So kena banyak kali mainla dgn 3ds max ni.ntahla,aku x pernah dengar pun nama software ni.nnt aku try survey dkt mana² kalo jumpa Smile

yeap2, tapi bosan gak practice mende nih, berjam2 depan pc tgk mende tu je..hehe,

aku rase xyah pi low yat pun xper, kat digital mall pj dulu ade, aku beli kat ampang point dulu, xpun dload jer kalo ade account rapidshare/megaupload etc2 Very Happy
