Last week was a bit home sick... in view of the long stretch of holidays, i made up my last minute decision to drive back hometown... Cool

when it comes to which car to be driven back to KT, my wife insisted that we shall take our Toyota for itz comfy & reliability Wink

As the man of the house, I took the veto power for granted by over powered her decision & took my E30 for an endurance ride to KT! Razz

Guys, be proud of the E30 coz mine survived the endurance ride all the way back to KT & returned! Laughing

2 X 455km = 910km
2 X 5 hours = 10 hours

So I gave my wife a wicked look & told her : 'says who 24 years old E30 tak boleh sampai Trengganu?' Twisted Evil

The following photos are juz my syiok sendiri snap shots that I feel like sharing. For those who never been to KT, u may njoy the nice scenery ...

Pantai Batu Burok snaps : Wink

KT people are pampered with the free city ride in this exotic & creative 'Bas Bandar' : Shocked

Kampong Cina aka Kampong Tiong : Surprised

My favourite Kepok Lekor store in Losong...it was a long wait for my purchase as Perkampongan Keropok Losong is also a tourist hot spot with tour buses sending tourists into the area for keropok purchases : Surprised

Took a drive down to another new tourist hot spot - Taman Tamadun Islam where they house the famous & controversial RM3 Billion Crystal Mosque! Cool

Took a drive to Pulau Duyung to check out how developed is the place now ever since KT started the controversial Monsson cup there. The finding is impressive and a nice resort is being built for the event Shocked

When PAS took over Trengganu, they removed one of the iconic Turtle statue from a round about in town & replaced it with this Batu Bertulis Evil or Very Mad

Here's my all time favourite food in KT and i categorized them as MUST HAVE food whenever I am back to KT!

My all time favourite breakfast NASI DAGANG Wink

Accompany by kepok lekor goreng Rolling Eyes

And also Roti Pa'ung with home made kaya Rolling Eyes

My favourite tea break with Rojak Cenawang & kepok lekor stim Rolling Eyes

Of coz not forgetting my Laksang Rolling Eyes

On the last day of my stay, I have managed to get my friend to grab me these fresh from fishermen boat cheap seafood! Razz

4 tiger prawns = 1 kg

250 g each prawn! Gigantic size! Twisted Evil

Lastly, thank you for taking the time to read my bullshit & I personally think the ride back to KT with my E30 was the most enjoyable & memorable one! Perfect handling & ride along the coastal road leading to KT! Bravo E30! Razz

Nawty, first of all i would like to say GREAT THANKS for your effort to post an AWESOME pics of your hometown. This is one of the reason why we love our kampung so much.

YOUR RIDE IN THE PICTURE IS TOTALLY 'GARANG'. Cantik tertarik tha BOMB.

Well, just for your info, we plan to have a East Coast drive next year after CNY to party (1 night stay in Kuantan). Guess we only can make it to Kemaman. (Party and Drinks) is not suitable in Terengganu?

Cool one Nawty! Who said E30 cannot go far? I've been traveling up to Kelantan - KL for years! hehe =). You made me want to go back to Kota Bharu oso la haha.

Can.. takde hal, those dont want drink and those want to drink also can join
marrhh ..anyway, the heavy drink only happened in Kuantan only... later drink drive also cannot hahahahah

tq tq bro highway & gangz....i tot my thread would be a boring one.... Embarassed

anyway, datz a good news there that there will be a drive to east coast, will seriously consider to join! i was thinking to propose it while i njoy my journey to & fro .... so GARANG having a convoy of E30 riding towards east coast!

bad news is after CNY I will be away to oversea for a job assignment, date unconfirm yet....will observe if the date will clash with the east coast drive!

Terengganu is way better now than 5 years ago! DRINKING is absolutely no problem whatsoever! The beauty of drinking in KT town is you will never be flagged down by traffic police for breathelizer test in the middle of the nite coz the town is soooooo peaceful that even the police is in rest & relax mode all the time Laughing

i never post those drinking session pictures coz I think it's not appropriate here and better to respect our muslim fellow malatians here Smile

u want healthy drink, hanky panky drink, some perfume to accompany you drink oso can, u name the choice & I will provide the way! hahahahahaha (devil advocate... Twisted Evil

)

all in all, it was a pleasant balik kampong trip that long to go for with my ride... Rolling Eyes

fret not bro chris...i did not expose it to the sea water, juz right beside the road shoulder with some beach sand for my photo snaps... Cool

KT has 300m - 500m width of beach before you could actually touch the water.... Razz

sure kena pelangkung....

a fren of mine (trengganu) used to say "Dok juper dak per...juperr lepekk"

= tak jumpe tak pe, jumpe ganyang....btol ke? hahahaha
