yep , m52 turbo = gHost in a shell .. =)

depends what u want , u want power vs handling or power with handling ,
so many cara to do it , too much power , handling sure kacau .
let's not forget it an e30 chassis . not some new e46 chassis .
gotta think about the poor old 'bird' also .

what ? want to match a M50 power... easy, dun need to sweat so much or burst your piggy bank...

1. put in a 2.7 block bottom end, make sure it's the 9.8 cr pistons.. need to buy new. blue print the engine.

2. port and polish the head, only inlet, enlarge the intake ports, gas flow it

3. do a 3 angle valve cut on the inlet valves, if possible do the decking for increase air flow

4. go with a 282/272 cam, this the lease aggrasive cam, too much, your engine will be a washing machine.

5. use the L-jetronic system, easy power gains on the distributer timing.dun need to use the chip, cos L-jet no chip, motoronic is much useless... less then 5hp with the chip

6. if can get a extractor -long length type, then better on the high rpm.

7. go with the e28 flywheel and clutch+pressure plate- better torque and clutch wont slip when doing drag- otherwise you will have a burned clutch.

8. go with a 260 getrag or a dogleg gearbox... dun use shot shift gearlever, it will ruin the box;

9. finally, final drive of 3.91 will be good.. very fast.. dun worry about the top end.. if the engine is balanced nicely, 7000rpm can stay..

10. others to play around, honed intake, enlarged trottle body, MSD ignition coil, e28 AFM, bigger capacity injectors..

All this, the engine will have 200++ horses...

Just wanted to spies this tread up a bit man...
Anyways, Was Planning to Convert My E30 M20b20 to a M20b27 high compression...
Which brings me...
Converting the Head to a M20b25 Motornic will be the best way...
or keep the L-Jet system...

But this conversion is hard to find parts that's about it...

Ok here is my project for my engine:
Originally: M20B20

Modifying:
- Bore to 2.7L
- Use 2.5L Forge Steel Stroker
- 2.7 Forge Crank Shaft
- High Rev Cham-Shaft
- Convert the head to 6 Throttle...
(Most of it is base on the Hartge H35)
- Open Port Intake System

Gear Box:
Well i have not figure out the gear-box yet... just putting that aside 1st...
but now i got a getrag gearbox... dont know what model...
but for now just need to find a 4.1 LSD,

Plus i also have to change my rims to 16"...

I want both Horsepower & Handling in it...
So yeah... that's all about it...
nothing special...

Did not meant to agonize you guys...
but i'm still collecting the parts 1st...
Just got my 2.5 light weight Stroker... Smile

Well, this is sharing, anyway... good luck finding all those parts LOL!.. whatever you do, safety comes first. Brake System need to update, Chassis must be strengthen. For me, i'm not ready for these set ups.

Might have more patience, keep some money to upgrade straight swap S52

hahahaha... i'm now in the midst negotiating with fellows BMW performance guys for S14. kekekekekeke... worst have to use haltech ecu and good halfcut shop for AP....kekeke

bukan apa chris, i think s14 is good for chassis E30... our chassis pun bukan
kuat lagi daahhh...kekekeke. Also, i'm trying to be on the safe side.

no need haltech, just opt for megasquirt, seach around. I saw its around Rm1.5k with tax from US. Its a full standalone .XD

A very² fast car.And a m20b25 with stroker kit just 240km/h in 4.3sec.U want a speed somemore??? A stroker kit bolt on with turbo with Garrett T04Z turbine.I think thats better.Then we can go for sepang drag battle this march.Hehe..
