Hey Malatians & Sifu-Sifu...
I have one crazy project...
That's is to defeat the M50 Singal Vanos Engine with an M20...
But anyways...

I was thinking to convert my M20 Engine To 6 Throttle...
Now using a E30 320i L-Jetronik..
Let's Say If I change my M20 to 6 Throttle...
Do i have to change my Engine AFM to MAF Sensor?
Which Technically Means Do I need to convert to M20 Motoronik?

But what's the ways to convert the M20 L-Jet to a Motoronik Engine?
Change the cylinder Head?
Change the Intake Manifold To the Motoronik Type?
Change ECU?

Please help me on my quest...

i think jetronic system itself is more potential than the motronic system.u can tweak and play around with more stuff.its like how proton's engine system last time werby d older batch of protons run on mitsubishi ecu and the newer batch runs on siemens.u can tweak more on the 1s runnin on mitsu ecus than the dull dead set siemens ecu.otherwise,i culd be wrong tho.

just my 2 scents.

my own ride runs on the 1st batch of the motronic system which is quite headache enuff.

Sorry to hijack, just a quick question. would there any improvement on horsepower if i was to change the throttle body from a present M20B20 to M20B25?

No... cuma increase engine reponse je bro..!!! Change the whole intake manifold to 2.5 model much better ar..!!! Just my 2cent lah... Wink

what lah you guys...
Rojak a M50 in side an E30 is so common..
Have you guys ever thought of using you're original engine..
Improving it...
So that it can beat the M50 Engine..

I planned to Rojak M20, so that it's more has better responds..
not only that...
I planned to beat the M50 Engine...
I have a few planned to do up my engine...

Okay al3dx, what you need to do with your M20 is
covert cannot tell then install cannot tell after that
your trailing arm cannot tell. You will reach about cannot tell.

Manifold have to use cannot tell with cam shaft cannot tell.

Taddaaa... you got one mean machine!

Overall your budget is around cannot tell.
