Hi sifus! I have re-fall in love with e30, have finally found a great (my standard la) e30 to my liking now...

here it goes (photo taken from owner, I have yet to snap my own photos out of the car as I have juz taken the car last nite....wait i was clean clean 1st)....

ya ya bros...

itz slurppy good! the owner maintained this car at Ingress Auto & used all original parts...he passed me all the service reciepts and I am still studying the details of his historical restoration! looooong list and TONNES of $ spent on the car during 2007 and early 2008....he only enjoyed it for less than 6 months & sold it to me...

yes elvin, he put it up for sale in BMWCM, by luck i saw it so called him to view the car. once viewed, immediately hooked and placed my booking on the same very spot without hesitation! like bro aRRrgghh said, itz worth every penny i paid for & itz sooooooo nice to drive and feels like NEW CAR!

Okie, here's my version of photos.

Saturday, woke up very early morning started my work on the ride, lotioned the seat, washed, waxed and minor cleaned the engine bay...

At the end of the process, the experience was PRICELESS!

i m not sure if CCFL & HID is nice on e30....i mean it surely nice to drive with HID and LANSI to flaunt the CCFL angel eyes during the early evening drive, but e30 is a modern classis that i think i would like to maintain the oldskool halogen without CCFL...(that is my personal view la)...

so Classic is the key word here...til i get bored, perhaps i will at least get a HID lol!

Note : last saturday nite, JPJ operasi at NKVE Damansara tol, all cars with with HID being flagged down! I was safe coz i wasn't on HID yet!

Yours is M10 engine or maybe owner converted to M40
(If carburator M10, if injected M40)

by the way bro buddy, since u r frm Subang USJ too, do you know the Pak Haji that owns 3 e30 (red & white coupe and another blue 4 doors) around ss19 on the way out towards the federal highway/glenmarie?

the Pak haji is a real fan of e30...i saw his collection grow since last year...he always send his e30 to ss19 for repair and refurbishment...damn nice and spent a lot of time and $$$ on his rides! SALUTE!

Fizan/nawtyboy,I'm at USJ 13 but currently working in the middle east. will be back next in january.will give you a buzz when i'm back.
By the way,my car is dark blue,think i have seen the red e30 around USJ as well,with ACS bodykit and mtech spoiler.

wow, amna, rupa-rupa u kenal haji jaafar, but now i oni see 3 e30s parking berderet kat depan rumah....tak nampak ada 5 e30 pun?

anyway, dia betul betul berani parking depan rumah aje...subang area recently has rampant auto theft recently, i punye Putra baru aje kena curi bulan May 2008!

his e30 is way to eye catchong and attention cathcher la, kalau tak curi keta pun curi rim! bahaya!

tq tq bros al3dx & sach...eeerrr...u guys r rite, i oso cannot believe an e30 over 24 years old with such mint condition when i first laid my eyes on it. Shocked

bro sach, no need i take u 4 the spin la, u can take it 4 a spin when we meet up next time!

so i guess i didn't mind pay a premium to buy it. Rolling Eyes

the seller oso 'warn' me to continue to take good care of it which i m doing everyday. Razz

Yeah, i have spotted that red e30 a couple of times...sweet ride,nicely lowered too.

Wow, that Pak Haji got 3 e30s???...i have only noticed 1 everytime i pass by that road.

Yeah...i guess i speak for everyone here when i say i'm jealous of your ride nawtyboy. just can't get enough of it. my e30 also pale in comparison.

tq bro highway...tapi one thing i need to highlight la, the sticker mungkin dah expired kot? wording tu tak lekat pada lip, bila i tarik the plastic lamination, the wording still stick to the lamination...so i juz left the wording covered with lamination....

i think it won't last long...

Function ah? sori la as i really hv no comment...i install it for the fun & good looking, not really concern if it has downforce function, afterall, i m a slow driver, no rush rush like F1 kimi raikonen, so i think it doesn't really matter lor...

furthermore, the lip is only attached to the bumper by rivets, dun think it is strong enuf to withstand the strong wind resistant to create downforce le....juz my 2sen la...

i was very tension going thru bump when entering car park especially on very steep slope! Shocked

i oso hv to measure the distance to 'impact' of the lip to my car porch when i 1st drove it home with the lip!

So far, my company complex car park slope & my house compound have no impact on the lip! pheewww.....lucky me Razz

If it's attached to that small lip area on the bottom of the mtech2 valance, even more dangerous, very easy to crack and splinter it at those mounting points. So be remember to be careful everywhere lol.
