if the wooom wooom sound from the rear wheel >? cause by the wheel bearing is it > and also vibration ?

i bought a chop shop rear lower arm left side for 350 is that cheap or expensive ?

wooommm or vvrrooommm hehehehe

okay, maybe your rear bearings or front (i haven't came across wheel bearing sound on rear part always front). If sound like army truck then its your tyres. you can go mech first and check before you purchase anything.

vibrations during acceleration will be your centre bearing on which supports the long shaft movement. Also, gearbox mounting. if vibration during high speed, probably your wheels (need to balance).

i never bought chop shop lower arm, advisable to use brand new. old lower arm tends to flex easy.. (besi lama).

hope this helps.

Thanks Highway.

hurm at this stage bro. wooom wooom wooom sound is so annoying lol.

i got so many thing in my mind on whats going on. might be the wheel bearing, might be the tire. might be the lsd . and then my e30 macam cacat sikit. left side chamber 3.2 degree and right side is around 1 deg+.

iam currently in lumut. and the workshop down here got no idea...
so i buy 1 set front and back wheel bearing. left rear lower arm. super pro bush.

fening fening. and 1 more thing. where to get e30 cf hood with vent ?

bro, send your car to ah Fong. He's my mechanic. He can buy stuff for you.

btw, how much you bought super pro bush?

Regarding CF hood, you can take ur existing hood to Racecraft in Subang, ask them to mould one for you. My advice is, dont do it first, use the money to upgrade your suspension and change the worn out bushes, if got extra money, get a full anti roll bar for the E30. Trust me, its sooooooo worth it. No point having a nice car but the car cannot drive properly.

Just my experience and 2 cents. No offence

Chris

YUP TOTALLY AGREE. get things right first, and you will smiling all the way.
i also keen on CF hood, but IT JUST A MAKE-UP therefore, i put aside first.

i order UR antiroll, but came pelik pelik the front 1 too long. so they change the all thing for me . and they say no stock at the moment. the 4 door version and 2 door version lain size ah.

super pro bush. i got from Hoko moto. i cant remember the price. 800 + i think or more.

currently iam using Koni + eibach prokit. (dont have time to survey for a new 1 yet) looking for a adjustable high low - soft hard. any suggestion ?

about the CF hood. sebab my turbo too too hot hot , i wan to get those vented hood macam GTR hahaha. but buruk la rupa.

chriseunos,

where is your mechanic ? how can i contact him >

Thanks, sifus.

i have not come across anti roll bars that are different for E30 4 door or 2 door. I believe its the same. UR front is 23mm..rear is 19mm. If not mistaken, it copies the racing dynamic diameter.

wow, the super pro bush price is not bad. Please let us know how the super pro feels!

for ur suspension, what sort of ride quality you're looking for? If u want comfort, i think ur current setup is good enough. Is you koni adjustable? soft hard? If you want stiffer, get H&R springs with Bilstein Yellow. Its expensive but its worth it. (non adjustable). If you have extra money, get Ground Control adjustable. If not mistaken, KC told me its RM3k plus not including shipping to Malaysia

regarding your Turbo, i suggest you pay a visit to KL, get the manifold and turbo ceramic coat it. It will greatly reduce the temps. Its not VERY expensive. If your engine bay is too hot, try jacking the bonnet abit by adding washers to bonnet hinges. Another option is sacrificing your high headlamps, you will get direct cold air by taking them off, but it will look a bit weird la

Regarding my mech, i dont have his number cause i always go and visit him personally. You can ask KC to show you where his location, i've told him how to get there.

Cheers
Chris

thanks chris.

in dillema, the problem now is that i cant move any where now. stuck in lumut due to the tail end of my project critical time,

currently totally lost with ideas on how to recover my quality ride. thinking of getting another set of rims 16" 45s- 50s, 225-235, and get those H&R + bilstein. my current setup on my front 18" 40series- almost 1/2" to the fender and rear 3". and wondering how much can i sell the koni front and back + eibach pro kit. used less then 2000km?

but i tried before running on 16" my car goes like a wild donkey. corner sikit .. already my car going side ways automatically .. macam pro drifter.. hahaha very dangerous and scary when unprepared.

super pro bush . nothing special i think same thing like the normal one. just a brand. maybe when my rear arm change + wheel bearing change next week. i can tell u. gud or no gud.

but i think i got chop off by a manjung tyre shop for installing the bush (tire solution - next to toyota showroom in manjung) bloody bastard charge me 950 for installation and servicing. i ask my boys to send my car there then i call the tauke ask him how much. he tell me later kira. 2 days later bill came to me . WTF. day light robbery and he is also the guy who intro me the UR stuff.

Pening project here ... pening also my e30 here.....

lol , when u get back here we go grab a beer and a few girls at mawar merah k.

cheers.

my current setup on my front 18" 40series- almost 1/2" to the fender and rear 3"<----- bapakkkkkk bosaunyaaa.. patutla nampak kat macD haritu tinggi dan besar gile.. mmg sapa lalu kat macD haritu mmg terpaling tgk lu punya kete bro.. semalam pegi kedai tayar yg lu bikin apa ntah haritu sebelah toyota show room tu.. ada rim breyton 18".. thinking to buat gile masuk kat E30.. tapi nanti lain pulak jadinya.. yg pertama offset tak sesuai pun jadi masalah.. takut terkena arch dan sangkut pada absober, but kalo kena gaya mmg cantik, kena pulak pakai engine turbo, tapi mengikut dalam magazine bmw for e30 the biggest rim should be 16" just nice, they also give a tips bout e30 handling.. how to upgrade ur absober.. and whut's the diffrent between boge abrs and bilstein abrs..cheeeewahhhhh mcm tereee je aku xplain heheheh...

i never bought chop shop lower arm, advisable to use brand new. old lower arm tends to flex easy.. (besi lama).<---- betui betui... bukan apa.. takut kerana murah rm40 to rm50 drpd baru.. nanti lain jadinya.. safety nak kena jaga.. penting tu.. kete engine besar ni safety must come 1st, last 2 days kalo lu ada perasan ada eksiden depan selekoh toyota show room mercedes 123 model pakai engine sr20 terbalik depan tu.. my gawd massive bro.. takut tengok.. empat-empat rim terkepak masuk dalam..
i guess sebab tak boleh tahan handling engine tu masa selekoh tu.. to much power.. kete tinggi.. absobers rasanya tak bersesuaian dengan horse power engine sr20 tu.. so becareful.. front wheel drive and rear wheel drive is diffrent.. please aaa.. im telling this because i used to accident like that mercedes ..because i thought rear wheel drive handling just the same with front wheel drive..

Is your Koni adjustable? in my opinion, try changing your rims to smaller ones, if you think that your tyres kept on wheel spinning due to power, try change to better tires. Falken 912 is a good buy, i tried it and i highly recommend it. Its not expensive also

18" is nice, but the handling will be hugely affected by the size. Try finding 16" with 9" width. XD

high way. i dont know the second hand price bro.

chris , soft hard koni.

agree on 18" with handling, wa ingat mau ikut si 3 belang dalam magazine. hahahha. sakit badan nampak nya hahahaha. but got to love during high speed.

any recommend on what rim should i get. kinda blur la.. ac ok tak ?

i think i try call almost all the bmw shop in kl. they say no stock and dont have, and they ask me to source for chop shop... kalau ada baru i dont mind. not trying to save money for my life here hahaha, so i ask my fren to help me go look for me. because i did ask in the forum before i go and buy. and what about the eibach ANTI-ROLL BAR KIT (FRONT&REAR) > is it worth to buy those around 1.5k - 1.8k? but have to order wait like 1 month.

#18: Re: wheel bearing Author: chriseunos PostPosted: Sat Aug 16, 2008 5:06 am

if u have 1.8k to spend on anti roll bars, may as well order IRELAND ENGINEERING for around Rm2.5k . They are the largest anti roll bars for E30 and it is the best! ask around to confirm
