back to bro jeembo's question,it depends on how much damage or how badly worn out the engine is Very Happy

uncle buck,for boosting at 1.5 bar i have a feeling u need to carry out extensive cyclinder head job and changing most of the m20's internals. Very Happy

for me..depends on own pocket...if want the easy way and lot of parts..go for japs engine...n/a tuned for ori engine also ok...for turboed or supercharged ori engine need lot of money i think and need proper tuned and setting...i think la...jo-e34...can u share ur experience about supercharging ur E34?

bro orange,you are correct in everyway, lots of money and effort has to be put onto the set of engine,air fuel mixture has to be right,timing has to be right otherwise u will not feel the advantage of force induction,and off course if money is not an issue the bigger the C.C is always better becos there's no replacement for displacement Very Happy
