hi there,

i have a question on this particular e30 engine, i would like to know is it advisable to add HP :
a) change the throttle body to 2.5?
b) or just rebore the original throttle body to 2.5?
c) Upgrade my current extractor to a custom one?

For question (c) i heard that a new custom extractor will be more hotter than the stock ones yet better flow ofcourse but it will melt seals around the engine. please advice me sifus. thanks!

yea bro , planning m20b25 for my engine upgrade also .
b20 bukan takde power ler ..tapi seberape jeee Smile

if u want power, still maintain bmw engine , go for m20b25 .

b20 pun power apa (enjin aku tu wei..hihi) tp power unt org mcm aku ni la...just for non extreme driver, bwk pun slow2 je makan angin...hahahaha

Okey, M20 B20 Motronic or L-Jet?

If you plan to keep your B20 engine, 2.5 air intake, 2.5 throttle body and 2.5 fuel injectors with performance fuel regulator will do it. BUT you still cannot fight B25. You also can R&D your rear diff.

p/s Oh yes, like last TT chriseunos suggested to remove all carpets, door trimmings and even pass motion before drive hehehehehehe (joking only ahh)

for what i know if u change peformance cam & chip it will in crease a minimum 10hp and above.

Bro, kalu nk pakai intake system m20b25, u kena port skit cylinder head m20b20 tuh... Pastu pakai injector m50b20 (green color) + adjustable fuel regulator... Xpayah nk bore2 deh... Wink

brape cost semua ni? tak brape tau sangat... Smile thanks bro! tak terpikir nak tukar b25 sebab dah byk spend restoring engine nie, silap gak lah, patut tukar terus hehehhe... so ingat nak test, rnd dulu engine nie pastu when the time comes tukar engine.... Smile (kumpul duit gak...) Razz

okay you forgot to mention yours motronic or L jet. Kalu L Jet, kena mod you punya throttle body. kalau tak pun get the whole assembly.

cost
M20B25 Intake manifold with throttle body
RM300 to RM450 depending half cut shop pricing.

M50 (6 biji) Injectors will cost you around RM200 to RM250
also depending half cut shop. Why? kadang2 halfcut shop taruk harga
tinggi. if you lucky can get RM150

Please diagnose your injector first kot kot takut rosak.
Cost diagnose/cleaning RM25 to RM30 satu biji x 6 biji.

Workmanship tak tau lorrr... Good luck

Bro, the cost for this plus R&D easily can get half cut weii...heheheh
i remember last time asking for performance cam, supplier told me cost around 5 to 6k maakkkk oiii caaabbuuutttzzzzzz
