dulu aku ada info keta e30 aku converted to japan eng rb20det....tapi projek ni dah makan masa dah setahun lebih....keta tersadai kat workshop dah lama...cermin belakang pon pecah....aku dah berbuih tanya bila nak siap duit upah pon aku dah bagi...sebab workshop ni pon kwn aku gak..nasib aku ada keta lain 4 daily use.....pastu aku plak dah keja jauh kat kl ni...keta kat penang....aku ingat nak tow keta tu buat kat pomen yg lain...ada satu pomen ni org lama...dia byk convert bimmer mostly masuk 1j n rb20.....ingat nak buat kat situ....so apa pendapat korang?b4 masuk workshop e30 aku ni baru pas cat je...skrg dah jadi cam keta scrap plak...calar merata tempat.... Crying or Very sad

...kalau aku tau dulu baik x payah convert...e30 aku tu cuma problem AFM je.....nak menyesal pon x guna..... Crying or Very sad

Itu pasal yg susahnya.. workshop kawan. Honestly, memang susah nak bagi pendapat nih sebab kami kat sini pun tak tahu workshop yg lagi satu ni. But atleast dekat sikit kat KL. Senang nak tengok. Sayang bro. Just get it done!

Mula mula nak job semua okay, mintak duit downpayment chasing like hell, when everything provided tak nak kasi settle. PASAL APA? PASAL KAWAN....ishhh... nak marah pun tak guna. Take this as a lesson. Kalau dah panggil kawan make sure it stays that way... kawan cannot do business unless it was intended in the first place.

Saya suggest tow kete kat KL. BUT make sure yang ORANG LAMA nih memang pandai buat.. jangan main cakap jer.

Have a talk to your friend how to compensate your money and time. Tell him, that he have to pay for towing the car to KL. Kalau tak nak, barter trade... kalu ada rim yang cun die simpan, kasi angkat jer. whatever it is, you have to give him some lesson. Period!

UNLESS YOU SENDIRI KANTOI... MACAM PARTS TAK COMPLETE ATAU YOU SENDIRI YANG BER DELAY DELAY....

Saya bukan batu api.... cuma pernah terkena sampai mamat sorang nih buat tak tau konon....

maslahnya aku beli halfcut rb20det....brg complet...sport rim 17' 2pis suma dah beli....firewall dia dah buat separuh jln pastu tinggal camtu....dia buat keta lain dulu sebab dia kata buat pelan2 la baru elok....masalahnya dah dah byk keta yg convert masuk pastu dah siap keluar tapi bm aku still tersadai....ikutkan hati mmg aku nak tow kae kl...sebab aku dah mmg duk kl skrg ni....by this month aku balik penang nak try settle camne kalau x bole aku try pikir nak tow...tapi workshop kl kat mana korang leh suggest?

sorry gizmoz, this kinda conversion saya confirm tak tau. what about the one you mention orang lama? is he the one your other friend recommend or you found out yourself? bukan apa, nowadays ramai orang makan duit atas angin (and yet they call it business) recommend sini atau sana tapi 30% masuk poket and yet, betul ker tidak cakap die kita tak tau.

sorry to say this, your mech tuh dah banyak lemak... too comfort sampai naik kepara. sorry for you.

Find the person who already converted their cars to specific mech. Ask and check their cars entirely before you award the project to. If the car is at your specs and you felt satisfactory on how the work done... then go for it.

yup this 'org lama' actually already convert so many bm to japs heart....bcos he also own e30,e36 with japs eng....ok i try snap pic of my car....i think u guy also will agree what highwaystar already say.....

ye la as i know last time i visit my bm past 2 month ago....brg still complet la.....what in my mind now is i sell this rb20det eng n buy other e30 halfcut...is this a good idea?

sounds that orang lama is OK since he has his own converted ride.

For the switch, its too late to turn back unless no major repair done ie: firewall cut or engine mount mods. the thing is.... What do you actually want for your car? what makes you into this jap conversion in the first place? Follow your instinct brah.

Forget the time and money wasted. If you want to make decision whether stick to original or convert... it is all up to you. Or else we cannot call your ride Yours... its Ours.

what u said its true highwaystar...firewall already cut....mount also modded already.

well, check and ask your new mech when and give the date you targeted to get it done. you also need to check your own schedule on when to tow and costing. in this way, the plan will go smoothly and hassel free.

to transport, u need to use two. 1 for your E30 (tow truck) and 1 (normal 1 ton lorry) to transport your halfcut. Make a list for parts you need for conversion this is to avoid double trip. Also, check your mech where should it be delivered and ask him to leave a space 1 day before arrival. Bila sampai terus masuk... tak payah buang masa. Then be firm to your mech. If the mech knows that you are serious for this, then they will be more professional to do things. This is to follow your time frame.

Transport recommendation you can contact bimmerrasta kot kot ada geng yang buleh transport your goods from penang to kl. Also, you can pm jeembo for contact number of your rear glass replacement in Dolwa Setapak. Transport is better take from penang to kl rather than kl-penang-kl....

This wont help much, at least will keep your burden slightly lighter.

Bad to hear ur problem naim....last 2weeks aku ada lalu area tasek gelugor & terperasan ur e30 still in ur friend workshop (!@#$%^& &*$#),semakin teruk aku tgk e30 hang,dh mcm old junk ....tak singgah pun just ushar tepi jln je sbb aku xkenal sgt depa tu....better hang bwk buat kt kl je la,senang hang nk update cuma masalah kos je la nk tow ke kl,tu pun kot2 pomen hang bleh kawtim sbb problem ni pun dari dia,lgpun duit hang dh byk byr kt depa kan.....

...aku rasa bapak aku tgk keta ni mesti dia tensen kat aku, dia bila baru e30 ni dulu then bagi kat aku masa aku masuk kolej 7 thn lepas..takpe by this week aku ada penang nanti aku kontek hang....tak biasa bersua muka lagi...hehehe....
p/s kalau bole hang edit la nama workshop tu...x payah tulis...

Bro gizmoz, gua banyak kesian dengan situasi you larr... Memang kalau aku yang kena, dah lama aku kerjakan si mekanik tuh.

Kawan mnakan kawan is the worst thing in life man. Betrayal of trust macam nih memang tak leh tolerate especially if he is close to you before.

Lagipun you bukan mintak dia kerjakan kereta you free, bayar tuh...pendahuluan pulak pun dah bagi.

Personally, I think you better not delay any longer. Just take your car and all your harta benda out from the workshop & get it done somewhere else.

After you have taken all your barang out from the hell-hole, baru you bincang man-to-man with the mekanik/friend. Why bincang after instead of giving him a chance to complete the work you ask?

Well, simple answer. Do you still trust his work on your property? If he doesn't treat you like a friend, I say you should really rethink your actions towards the fella. Kalau dia dolak-dalih with your reimbursments, don't hold back and make sure all hell breaks loose to let him know that you are no walk-over.

I don't want to be a "batu-api" but to tell you the truth, I pernah kena incident kawan makan kawan...api kemarahan masih membara walaupun kisah nih dah masuk 5 thn lebih Mad
