Hi all, talking about old cars (ooops, perhaps shall say aged car), other than decarbonized the engine, we surely want the exterior to look good too.

I have had this anoyying problems that my windscreen had too much of glare especially driving at nite or rainy days due to water marks on my windscreen!

So yesterday, I popped into Carrefour, grab a bottle of 'cheap' water/rain marks remover solution and try it on my car!

Wholla! The result is greater than before. However, need to re-do it coz my skill sucks, too slow in wipe away the solution before it dried up. So it leaved a bit of mark here & there...

Note : on the left, water mark can visibly be seen before treatment, on the right is the clearer screen after treatment!

I heard my friend told me that rubbing compound can be used to rub the windscreen to get rid of the water mark too...anybody can confirm this?

i oso use the solution to rub my side mirror, also works!

but if u guys out there will do it, pls remember :

1. dun do it under or direct hot sun
2. clean the windscreen and dried it before applying solutions
3. i recommend do apply in small portion, rub & wipe it clean before the solution dried up. I think I have some patches because of I fail to wipe it before it dried up lo.

Errr....please look for Rain/Water mark remover, NOT Rain repellent, thatz 2 different products! Enjoy!

Jeng Jeng Jeng! Fret not, this is the cheap & simple way to get rid of the stubborn water marks!

Get it from Giant / Carrefour hyper Mart, some outlet has it but some are not! There is another brand (can't remember but a bit more expensive - RM17+ - this one i bought is only RM7.90!

The trick is 'wipe' it with the solution, need not 'rub' it! Rinse it with water after applying it, I have made improvement over the weekend by re-do it again. The result is even better that the first attempt. Enjoy it bros!
