Hi joe, i just sent 2 cars to Kuching last month.

Two ways,
Closed Container door to door
Cost around 7k delivery time 1 month.
Why expensive? they will allocate container for you.

Roro
Roll in roll out
Cheaper cost around 3-4k door to door
arrival 1 week (including custom clearance)
BUT no container... exposed to sea but then again it will only take
3 days to reach east malaysia.

The best thing, will check the exact cost once you ok maybe more maybe less. FYI, the price above is based on 2 cars.

the fowarders will collect your vehicle and drive into ship, and when reach there, the appointed agent will drive out clear customs and deliver to your house address. Roll in Roll out is their fowarding terms lah, i oso konpius weerhhh... then again, if you lucky, they will appoint a person/driver to take care of your car.

This shipping was arranged by our brother Tombstone (he know much better than me)... everything covered in a jiffy. cheerio!
