please bring a mechanic friend with u...start the engine on the spot.check on the oil filler for water and oil mixing colour (white)very bad. milage would b a good clue of the condition.all in all its the overall deal vesus working parts of the half cut i guess...its all a gamble even after you checked it.hope this helps.

yea... i think the best way is to have an experienced friend (mechanic) to come along with me. as they say, 2 brains are always better than 1. lol...

thanks for the tip. appreciate it.

Uhhh.. and normally if you serious enough to purchase the 'Half Cut' (only if you pay deposit up-front), please request them to run the engine. YUP! what xsjado said is true, most mech got their magic fingers to raba2 the half cut hehehehehe

not really sure of which engine yet. blacktop would be nice, MAP sensor ma...
any of you out there have experience with this particular transplant?

yea... saving my money for it (E30). RM20k in cash is not easy to have.

get the blacktop supercharger with 5 speed. Dont get 6 speed gearbox, i heard a lot of ppl complaining bout it. My 2 cents
