temp gauge coz my temp sensor duno how to connect back after conversion.shift light coz duno how to hook up old one oso...all in all im very happey so there.

and the changed my knock sensor....my god it was a 7 hr job...during bulan puasa mind you....tangan pun sakit coz its so far in below the manifold..have to remove maniflod...and then put back the puzzle of sensor connectors...like 7 to 8 of the to put back in alll the nooks and crannys!!!!rasa nak nangis but then it all turned out well..now my baby accelerates nicely without drama!!!

ALAMAK DAH JADI RICER PASAL ADA GAUGE N SHIFT LITE....BOTH I NEED BADLY COZ I REDLINE IT EVERYDAY AND I INSTALLED AT THE HEAD UNIT COMPARTMENT SO NOT TO LOOK RICEY.

My engine serial number is 184s1 so its an m42. 1.8 duplex timing chain. came from an e36 318Ti.

but initially u were struggling with the ews right?

only the m44 had the ews issue..

its a low horsepower engine compared to m20, but lightweigt,twincam duplex timing chain with adjustable cam sprockets standard,contributing to better balance, its a fun engin, you can rev the hell out of the engine, thats where it really makes its power,it has forged internals so forced induction is possible.its not a drag engine, dont expect too much from it but modification optios are infinite,,,,check out www.m42club.com

m42 with airflowmeter, m44 with M44 iwth MAF and 1.9 but no forged internal, they can use the m47 crank and stroke to 2.1.duno la which but id go m42 coz of forged internals,..can supercharge!
