as for experience in climbing yes... kain kapan is part of the standard equipment. Guide to kinabalu memang ada, cost around RM500 to RM600 for 10 climbers if more than 10 have to get 2 guide. Potter lain kira. Somehow, most tourist agencies included already (with makan). will check around for new package price.

oh didn't know about the kain kapan... i tot its a joke. anyway just got a newsletter from Holiday tour & travels to share with u about Mount Kinabalu Package : from RM983
-3D 2N incl. 1 nite accom. each at ShangRi-La,KK and Park accom., daily breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, all KK transfers & guided tours based on set-in-coach and permit & entry fees.

anyway, this trip pending on budget & time jugak ler... same like scuba trip... if budget & time ok, then we can organize la. but to me it is something new & adventurous.

mmm we need more than 3d 2n hahahaha.. naik gunung pancit hahahaha
yerlah bro, time/funds pending nih.. ini kalu ada extra money buleh lah pegi...thanks for sharing shahril.

Yup, 3D 2 N seems not enuff, well, this one will always be on the KIV trip. hehehe.

Aik tak kan Gunung Datok surrender. Saya tak pernah daki gunung nuang tapi gunung datok dah beberapa kali daki dah. Kalau nak daki nanti calling2 lah. Kena masa yang sesuai dan tiada komitmen boleh saya join

gunung datok saya surrender sebab takde benda nak tengok lorr... mencongak 45 degree. aleh sampai atas batu besar ada spray 'iwan was here lahh' 'aku cinta padamu lahh' dan grafitti lain. rasa dicemar lorr...

gunung nuang i can call it happening. trek flat and also uphill. water source 80meter from peak. ada lumut, ada kering dan ada berembun.
different sea level diff climate. itu yang best tuh...hehehehe

I might call you when I go back in KK... Oh By the way, As you are there... take some time to go and check out Kundasang Mountain Road & Keningau Pass Mountain Road aka Crocker Range Road... You'll Love it...
