Dear members, are you free this coming weekend?

Grass Racing Autosports (GRA) in collaboration with BFGoodrich Tires would be holding their 2nd Round of the Grass Racing Autocross Championship 2007 in Shah Alam Stadium Car Park (opposite the go-kart track) this coming Sunday.

There is collaborate event between bimmersclub and WE malatbimmer.com was invited by them to participate in the fun by creating a small scale of BIMMER FEST

This event ran by GRA Organisers. And here are the message

As usual, we invite anyone who is interested to join, do a convoy to the shah alam stadium carpark, and park our cars there. We should be able to accommodate about 100 cars there i believe. time should be anytime from 9.30am to 5pm.

Many other activities can then be planned onsite.. people can bring their own canopies, chairs...etc. photograph opportunities, have a picnic, car boot sale..etc (selling new items is fine, as long as they do not clash with any of the sponsors for GRA. I will confirm a list soon, but right now that i know off, its BFGoodrich, Meguiars and Redline lubricants)

Owners who are proud of their cars, are welcome to put them on display at the main display area of the event.

of course, not forgetting, everyone can spectate and watch the autocross action going on. Confirmed entering, E46 328i vs E36 328i against 2.8 litre VR6 VW golfs(will run in the morning). Lots of other regular cars, as well as highly modded cars will be participating.

The venue is rented by GRA and no cost to us. The event will also draw a crowd which we need. There will be members of the press present also and we might be able to get some free publicity.
