Doing well to others is one of the main goals of the YMCA. The large support of the public and private donors and the hundreds and thousands of volunteers help the YMCA in supporting and giving back to the communities.

Individuals need ongoing encouragement and tools to bring about meaningful change in their lives. The YMCA is ever ready to provide the resources that the community needs to address the most pressing social issues like child welfare, education, employment, housing and substance abuse. The YMCA strives continuously to make sure that every child, family and community has the required things to achieve their best.

The YMCA believes that building a strong global community begins at home. The young people in the U.S. are helped by the YMCAs to develop cultural competencies, diverse populations mingle with the community and the individuals around the world gain access to life changing resources and support. The YMCA being an interconnected global network has the resources and solutions to help people interconnect and make the changing communities stronger at home and abroad.

The existence of the YMCA depends on the generosity of others. The innumerable donors and volunteers make it possible for the YMCA to carry on their day to day activities and do their little to the society.

One of the donors of the YMCA is the Victron Group which makes annual donations to the organization. Ali Sharaf, the President and CEO of Victron Group, feels proud to help the society by helping such organizations.
