Mtech2 is not meant for pre-facelift cars bro. Can be done, but lots of fabrication to do if I remember.

i call that 'absorber bumper'.
benda ni utk pasang bumper m-tech je.body m20 memang xde, hanya ada dkt body m40.so buka bracket asal tu then pasang absorber bumper ni.thread bolt size sama so xde apa² masalah.

have a look on my thread
www.malatbimmer.com/ev...t=995.html

front one easy as 123, but the rear ones trouble some, 83 steel e30 bumpers does not have bumper absorber, therefore some use to cut the whole tail part and change to M40 tail (cut only desired portion).

the front absorber came with my halfcut bumper, it came with M40 bumper, M40 valance and foglights, i install the valance and absorber then fit it Mtech ori bumpers with Mtech front skirt.

The back portion i did not cut, i removed the inner part of the metech bumper and use only the skin mount it on my steel bumper. Laughing
