yes, its true... i enquire with JPJ why cannot use road cage on public road.
first the RC Quality must compliance with FIA/MSA. This terms on Quality of the steel and also assembly (nickel weld). Then baru buleh pakai ONLY ON TRACK.
JPJ cakap kalu accident tak boleh claim insurance if death caused by the roll cage patah cucuk body, also BOMBA tak approve. Wreckage kalau bomba nak keluarkan body susah... banyak gergaji kena pakai...
So, kesimpulan-nya TAK BOLEH hahahahaha...
On track is okay lah sebab equipment ie emergency semua fully equipped to counter this.. insurance pun tak pening kepara...hehehe

Long time ago friend of mine used this things for his E28 and guess how much the price for RC?? Its 4K dude.. gila kentang punya... now the car already scrap coz too many 'injured' with the body.Hehehe... The RC design almost same like M3 Rally car
