the repair kit for vanos is around Rm1k. XD
i asked the m50b25 halfut before...Rm5k XD

yes, that is what ah poh quoted me...
so i guess he didn't ketuk me la, he's an honest mech
he said got vanos but did not mention what year was it...
i dono about Vanos maintenance as my previous ownership of Vanos for 4 years never failed me, the new owner (who bought my car) has been using it for 6 mths now, also never complaint about the failure of Vanos...
buy i guess itz all about luck lah....my fren bought a 1999 last batch of e36 328 with very low mileage alrdy suffer with Vanos failure...
mine on the otherhand almost clocked 200K km but never had the problem...pheewww, lucky me

does anybody know why??
