Can the sifus here advise what is a reaosnable price for a gd conditioned m42?

I m driving an e30 M40 now - so can swap to either e30 m42 or e36 M42 rite? both 4 pot rite?

dashboard cannot..
steering rack can, lower arms can, wiring only engine to ecu.. inside dash board cannot..
ask Xjado, he went thru hell...

giviing up idea of swapping to m42
can any sifu advise the mkt price for m401.8L (engine+airflow meter+ecu+idlingvalve+throttle body)?
