Just to share my opinion:-

The back light is usually diactivated purposely to avoid the police detection of the number plate and its easier to hide at the backyard of the housing or shop lots area if their get chased by the police patrol car etc..

Anyway back to my question i understood they dont want Mr.Policeman to detect them (by the sound of the exhaust i know is mat rempit oledi), but takan orang tua, or yang naik motor sampai tiga orang taknak taruk lampu belakang? ishh... sometimes me balik my wife kampung via bentong-raub highway during night time, i notice atleast 5 out of 8 takde lampu belakang...this is bad man..
