i am not so sure what is the offset.... but is it 8.5J X 17 is the offset?? im still learning... hehe...

bro it looks like a type 1 not type 3....
this is a single piece unit...
17" is the rim size
8.5JJ is the width of the tyre... so u check whether front and rear same width....if front 8.5JJ and rear 9.5 JJ that means its staggered.
offset is how far it sits from the knuckle...
so like e30 it should be 25....max i have seen on standard mandart is offset 32..
offset 35 will touch the absorber
for e34, i m not mistaken should be less than 20.... correct me if i m wrong.

that is weird...mebbe u can double check...there could be tiny spacer of 5mm?
haha
anyhow, why i say so is based on my humble experience...i used to have a bbs RC 4 hole offset 35 (and could not fix on as it touched my absorber) if not for a spacer....
