Hello kawan-kawan,

My car is e-30(320i) motronic(A) I ada poblem dengan suspension depan dan belakang, agak keras. enam bulan yang lalu I ade tukar absorber 4 batang, jenis Gabriel ( ultra heavy duty ) , Mungkin I tersilap beli kot atau ade advice dari kawan2 absorber yang i pakai sekarang ni boleh di modified . Dulu i ada masuk forum di SABIMMER , ade member bagitahu ade bengkel kat Senawang boleh bikin ape aje jenis absorber jadi sedap. Ade sape-sape tahu dan boleh bagi tahu no talipon bengkel tu.

One more poblem is, my engine lambat nak stable selepas start especially waktu pagi, kalau ade sape2 boleh tolong advise . Bro. Highwaystar and kawan2 please advise me.

Hi moose, alamak nama pun ULTRA Heavy Duty.... why larr? hehehe Wokey, benda dah jadi tak leh buat apa apa. Workshop di Senawang tuh saya tak tahu but i heard about it before. Please PM Ubartsanz for enquiry sebab die di N9.

One more thing ada kira budget tak? If the cost of repairing is higher than NEW suspension (compare to Bilstein Black) then it is not worth while. Sebab kalao repair... lifespan maybe reduce (tampered shocks) dan in future kena tukar lagi. Please check price dulu.

My advice is, change new absorber Bilstein Black is good enough for 6 potter E30 (road use) which is cost around RM860 for whole car. Your existing shocks kasi jual untuk Track use.

Change/check idling control valve... cost potong kereta around RM180 - 200. Brand New RM850

if u wan to mod ur shocks there i think it should be ok,if u are planning to get a set customised then there are abit pricey, better go for bilstien or konis....good luck mate

idle valve tu buleh service...
peralatannya ialah :-

1. skru driver
2. tisu/kain
3. carburator cleaner.

tapi, kalau ignition on, pas tu plug/unplug the cable still no sound, better change. tapi if still got sound tick tick while unplug/plugging the cable,
still can service. try la.. i've tried, and my engine's idle is stable now. hehehe.

Back to the topic, if use Koni absobers,must combi with what spring?? I heard many people said Bilstein Black and a combi with Eibach Pro-kit is a good one!
Among Bilstein,Gabriel & Koni which want the best for comfortable driving & save $$$...hehe

for the suspension.. i think better follow option bro highwaystar.. jimat lagi berkesan..

but ade jugak i jmp e30 owner yang upgrade Bilstein (batang besar punya dunno what people call la that model) byk sedap dia punye kereta.. but the cost is around RM2k..

spring? for me depend berapa rendah u nak bikin ur e30.. thks.

im using bilstein yellow (batang besar) with H&R 6 pot Springs. Its quite bumpy and agressive. Bilstein yellow with Eibach is softer compare to H&R setup. I sat on my friend's Bilstein black with Eibach springs. Not bad!

dont ask me why i did that.

was initially full set bilstein yellow front n back ..
car was very hard (springs Eibach Prokit)

then one of the front absorbers ring came out of the shock so ade bunyi . took out the front yellow absorbers (both side) put in 2 new bilstein black .

both the yellow n black has no diff in height for the front coz my engine pun ringan (m20b20)

ride is not as harsh as b4. not as rigid but still very useable .

my recommendation , if ur not into a hard ride, just go for full black bilstein & eibach pro springs.

if got budget just go for full black bilstein with h&r springs . (drive the car like a cart )

why my car doesnt handles like a cart? driver problem? XD
